    Xixin Foundation was officially founded on 6th August 2012. A project of “aiding 10 thousand poverty-stricken students with their education” was simultaneously initiated at the same day. Buddhist abbot of Xixin Temple, Chairman of Xixin Foundation Wusheng collected more than 400 names of students living in poverty. Information was gathered through effort of nearly 100 volunteers, Hunan Federation of Disabled Persons, Charity Federation of different levels, schools, education authorities as well as the media. Abbot Wusheng paid visits one by one in person to students’ families to verify details. He grouped the names into three categories according to the degree of poverty they suffered. Xixin Foundation provides financial assistance to 300 poverty-stricken students on the base that the most needed will be first helped.

     Vice Chairman of CICCC Hu Yanlin fully affirms the establishment of the foundation and initiative for students aiding. He hopes that the students would return the society with their endeavor in hard-working, in character building, in personality cultivation. Only when they foster a lofty ideal, be grateful and possess both ability and integrity would humanity be rewarded for their good deeds.

      Party Secretary and Executive Chairman of CICCC, Chairman of China Charity Project Committee Long Yuxiang suggested at the ceremony that the Foundation carries out philanthropic activities according to the law to make sure transparency, lawfulness and integrity and conforming to the standard of a healthy organization and welcomes supervisor from the governments, the board of the Foundation, sponsors, volunteers and the society, strives to be a trustworthy charitable unit with public credibility.
