10th China International Household Textile Product Festival & 3rd China International Costume Cultur

     Co-sponsored by the China Home Textile Association, China International Cultural Communication Center (CICCC), China Costume Culture Committee, Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, Shandong Women’s Federation, Shandong Textile Industry Association, Binzhou municipal government, the 10th China International Household Textile Product Festival & the 3rd China International Costume Culture Expo opened up at International Exhibition Center in Binzhou on 10th September 2012. Member of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress, Vice chairman of China Costume Culture Committee Lieutenant General Li Yiren, Associate governor of Shandong Province Zhang Jianguo, Honorary President of China Home Textile Association Yang Donghui attended the opening ceremony. This year marks the 10th anniversary of China International Household Textile Product Festival. The festival has developed from an obscure event to a highly reputed festival with international recgonition. With “innovation, integration and development” as the mission, the 3rd China International Costume Culture Expo consisted of activities ranging from exhibition, negotiation, competition, presentation and research, attracting more than 900 household textile enterprises taking part in the expo. The organizer also arranged concentrated signing section for 15 key projects totally worth 7.299 billion yuan RMB.

     Binzhou is a city known for its textile industry at home and internationally, which is considered as the pillar of its economy. Its highly developed textile industry and cotton resources have won the city titles as “the capital of cotton textile”, “model for Chinese household textile industry” and “China handmade home textile innovation base”. Over recently years, Binzhou carried out reforms on traditional industry, forming gradually a relatively reasonable industrial structure with sections like spinning, weaving cotton cloth, dyeing, bedclothes and costumes. The development of textile industry in Binzhou takes on significances. It helps hugely to the communication and cooperation between domestic enterprises and international ones. Head of the Communication Department of CICCC Xiao Ping attended the event.
